Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters

Written by Dr Meg Meeker in 2006, this book is an excellent discussion on how fathers can and should raise their daughters. It is the inspiration for a movie by the same name. Note that the movie is a story based on the principles of the book and not directly related. So it is worth reading the book and watching the movie. The movie is very good, with really good acting and high quality production. The movie depicts the tension between a father and his two daughters – one an ambitious woman who is engaged to a missionary from Mexico and the other a high schooler trying to navigate being a teenager.
