I’m glad you’ve decided to join me on this epic adventure to the holy land.
This trip was an impulsive decision for me to finally take some vacation time and spend 20 days traveling across Israel and Jordan. It would have been *so* much easier to take one of the many package tours offered, but I find great joy in researching and planning trips. I intend to impress you with my thoroughly questionable knowledge of this region, the archeological history, the biblical history, and the culture.
This will certainly be a unique trip! In addition to seeing the usual historic sights, we will also
- Participate in Yom Kippur
- Celebrate Sukkot
- Attend a Jewish-Christian service
- Tour a Christian Bible College
The most important part of going on trips, and also my favorite part, isn’t the trip itself, but actually being able to share with you and inspire you to take your own adventure.
Let’s be honest, though… slide shows are boring. So I’m going to try something different. This is going to be a series of short videos over the course of the entire trip. My challenge is to create an experience that is fun, entertaining, and impactful.
I want to ignite in you a spirit of discovery through videos that are quick, engaging and exciting!
I’ve never done a project like this, and if nothing else, you can find entertainment in my discomfort of being on the “wrong” side of the camera.
