Friday, June 9, 2023, Vince and Mona Puentes hosted a BBQ dinner to help Senator Ted Cruz kick of his 2024 campaign for Senator of Texas. Besides excellent BBQ, the senator’s father, Rafael Cruz told stories about growing up in Cuba and then finally moving to the US and all of this activities in getting churches to engage in politics and culture.
